Viviana Bernal is a designer living and working in Brooklyn, NY. She received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and later a Masters Of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. Her thesis project entitled‘Inhabitable Monumentality: An Exploration On Abstraction and Minimalism’ reflected her in-depth interest on site-specific architecture and installation. In addition to her academic background, Viviana has developed a deep seeded interest in the theoretical study, research, and blurring of cross-disciplinary fields.

-Contributing research and production of all material for OfficeUs at the
2014 Architecture Biennale under the direct supervision of Associate curator
Carlos Minguez Carrasco, and Chief curator and Storefront for Art and Archi-
tecture Director Eva Franch i Gilabert.
-Helping in the preparation of exhibitions, events, projects, competitions and
publications organized by Storefornt for Art and Architecture.
-Preparation of schedules, exhibition and project texts, archival material, and
day to day operations in the curatorial department.
-Preparation of events, coordination with artists, visualization of projects, gra-
phic design works for communication purposes, and archival material.
