NS SQUARE SINGAPORE (Shortlisted)

Rather than creating a boundary, we create an interface in between the urban area and the Marina Bay that integrates the city of Singapore, a place where people can play and
interact. We Design a node that smoothly connects people with their destination, yet a vibrant node that is a destinationn itself. It also surprises the visitor with unexpected
views towards Marina Bay skyline along their jurney and catches their attenttion at any moment.
It is a destination that everyones can enjoy any time of the year, either for a sunday walk enjoying an open air aphitheathers along the upper promenade, or for a short visit to
the upper Galleries enjoying a cup of coffee overlooking Singapore skyline.
We create a place in wich people can interact and connect, a place where every single corner people can experince and adjust to their needs.
In order to have straight and more intimate connection with the sea and the skyline view, we bring the concourse one
level up, so it can be at the same level of the upper promenade, stage, and the helix bridge height.
The grandstand was maximized, responding to the site boundaries to allocate the maximum capacity of audience. It folds
over the rest of the program that visually integrates with the city towards Raffles Avenue.
It is a roof that covers the staged boxes and contains the program
