Unai Artetxe, Architect licensed in Spain, attended to school and practiced in Spain earlier in his professional career. He graduated with a Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the School of Architecture of Barcelona (UPC/ETSAB) and held an Architect and Project Manager position in a professional practice in Barcelona until he moved to New York to join FR-EE in 2011.

As an Associate in FR-EE he worked on educational, institutional, cultural, hospitality and residential projects leading a large team across cultures, continents and languages. Unai also participated in international competitions in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. He is responsible of developing conceptual and schematic design documents and conducting research and analysis for the vast array of projects developed at FR-EE NY. 

Unai was a guest lecturer in an international urban planning symposium that took place in Mexico whose theme in 2016 was "Smart Cities and Innovative Territories".

Developed schematic and conceptual design documents including drawings, renderings, physical and digital models for residential, corporate, institutional and cultural buildings.
Conducted research and analysis, assisted with conceptual design, created drawings, graphics and models for high-profile international architectural competitions.
Designed exhibits, and artifact displays. Coordinated dialogue among different technical experts for execution & construction drawings.

Produced drawings, diagrams, presentation boards, study models and construction document set at each phase. Coordinated meetings with contractors, client representatives and suppliers during Construction Administration Phase.
