Le Guanahani Hotel

My office has had a relationship with Le Guanahani Hotel for several years, and following the destruction caused by Hurricane Irma in 2017, we were asked to renovate their beachfront properties. I worked on several design iterations for new and/or renovated hotel rooms and restaurants. Strict environmental and zoning regulations required in-depth study through product research and study models. The new plan for the beach includes private guest terraces, a waterfall edge pool, and a split-level bar. By using distinct volumes as an organizational method, and sliding glass panels, the upscale restaurant can be easily converted to meet parties of any size during nearly any weather conditions.
