This project aims to explore a new way in which residence could develop.

In the contemporary world, the concept of “residence” is changing. Houses are no longer a static place for people to live. They would like to choose something that could be easily replaced. With the development of tourism in China, there is more and more need for a mobile & “portable” home.

The design breaks the traditional concept of “house”, dividing a house into several parts according to the functions. They could be freely assembled. People choose units to make their home.

Moreover, every part in this house is independent from each other. Therefore, the creative furnitures or special electrical appliance could be purchased to renew the current house. This is useful especially in the old town where infrastructure is missed.
