I have my BA in interior design from Washington State University. I have worked in the industry for about two year.
First, at a commercial interior design firm where I was an intern. My responsibilities included drafting construction documents in AutoCAD as well as rendering floor plans, elevations and perspectives in SketchUp and Photoshop on a regular basis for a variety of national and local commercial design projects, while working under two NCIDQ certified designers.
Currently, I am an assistant for a local interior designer at a Little Accent: Creative Environments located in Woodinville, Washington. My responsibilities include drafting floor plans in AutoCAD for commercial and residential projects. I also assist in space planning using SketchUp and Photoshop. On a regular basis, I also manage an online equine store for the designer call: Horse of a Different Color: Classic Equestrian Design. My responsibilities include updating product information, design layout and flyers. I also design ads for the store to feature in equine magazine call Flying Changes and USEF.
At RH Home Gallery, I am an in-house interior designer and sale associates. At RH Home Gallery, I perform daily design consultant, which consist of space planning and color adviser for residential homes

Interior Design
Overview
The interior design field focuses on enhancing the function and quality of interior spaces to improve quality of life, productivity, health, safety, and welfare. Interior design is a fine arts discipline tempered by the human sciences.
The interior design major at WSU balances study in art, architecture, and humanities with a strong hands-on component.
All students complete a senior immersion experience — faculty-led study abroad in Florence, Italy, a professional internship, or working directly with a faculty mentor on a design project to benefit the local community.
