BCA Architects & Engineers has been working with Mexico Academy & Central School District since 2012. The most recent project included work at all of their facilities, including roof replacements, abatement, ADA compliance up-grades, and mechanical & electrical improvements. Specifically, at the High School, the historic front facade was reconstructed, replacing old wooden components with new FYPON columns and other historical components that are impervious to the weather. The historic auditorium was completely redone. A new, state of the art stadium with synthetic turf, running track, bleachers, press box, and tennis courts were constructed, and improvements to parking and traffic circulation were completed. At the Middle School, old open classroom instruction areas were converted to individual classrooms and corridors, as well as new toilet room facilities, and elevator and heating systems were redone.
