This modulated structure allocates approximately over 80,000 squared feet to accommodate spaces for a Lake Superior State research laboratory, a Coast Guard headquarters, and a museum sky walk. This concept was developed on an existing abandoned port harbor located on the edge of the St. Mary’s River. Modulation in structure allows cost effective construction and re-arrangement of departments between biology, toxicology, and robotic labs.
