Critical Access Hospitals do not have to be boring and appear to be inferior to larger health care providers. Actually CAH’s can be dynamic elements in their communities and emanate an image of high-quality health care services to their communities. This is what our firm has accomplished for this 72,000 SF rural replacement hospital. The siting of the facility is greatly influenced by the fact that the new construction must be accomplished while the existing hospital remains fully operational. The two-level concept allows the new facility to be sited on the existing hospital campus with only minor additional property acquisitions.
