Established in 1995, Stephen Yablon Architecture is dedicated to architecture that creates identity, place, and change. SYA works with a wide range of non-profit, public, and private clients including the City of New York, Brooklyn Museum, Columbia University, Planned Parenthood of NYC, Angelo, Gordon & Co, Mount Sinai Health System, and The City University of New York. SYA has been widely recognized for design excellence including numerous awards, publications, and exhibits. Among its many awards are an AIANY Honor Award and a National AIA Healthcare Design Award for the recently completed Planned Parenthood Queens. The firm has been twice selected for the NYC Department of Design and Construction’s Design Excellence Initiative and earlier was recognized as an important emerging firm by Interior Design and the New York City Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
