About 

Suttahathai, an architect based in Thailand, is dedicated to crafting architectural designs that seamlessly integrate with urban landscapes while embracing cutting-edge technologies. With a strong emphasis on research-driven design, she has garnered acclaim by clinching multiple design competitions and delivering compelling talks as a guest lecturer representing young architects in Thailand.

As a Registered Architect in Thailand with three years of experience in the field, Suttahathai has been involved in a diverse array of projects spanning residential, hospitality, and community-based design initiatives. Her roles, including Co-Founder and Head of Design at City Connext, have showcased her adeptness in understanding urban dynamics and her commitment to fostering inclusive and sustainable communities. Notably, her international engagements as a Thai Delegate at the EU-ASEAN Youth Conference on Sustainable Urban Development and as a Youth Representative at the EU-Thai Urban Youth Forum have endowed her with a global perspective and the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures.

Suttahathai's innovative endeavors, such as spearheading the Urban Data research initiative during Pakk Taii Design Week 2023 which attract 10,000 visitors within 9 days, underscore her proficiency in leveraging creativity and data to tackle urban challenges. Furthermore, her exploration of diverse design disciplines, including urban design, event design, graphics, participatory design, community-based research, and writing, reflects her belief in the transformative power of design to enrich lives in our diverse world.

A space born out of collaboration aimed at fostering new pedagogies of public and civic-academic alliance through architectural design, architectural humanities, and the modes of research, teaching and learning that animate them.

&Lab is directed by Suzanne Lettieri, Assistant Professor, and María González Pendás, Assistant Professor at Cornell University's College of Architecture, Art, and Planning.

• Led the Urban Data research initiative as Co-Host, managing the design venue through community-based design interventions and exhibitions for Pakk Taii Design Week 2023 that attracted 10,000 visitors in 9 days.
• Design participatory workshop for community engagement with public organization like National Health Commission Office, The Office of Knowledge Management and Development (OKMD) and Bank of Thailand
• As curator and designer, led interdisciplinary initiatives for innovative urban development and curated projects for private companies such as Haadthip, the distributor of The Coca-Cola in Southern Thailand
