Located at one of the most prominent intersections in the Los Angeles region, Catalina Apartment is a transformative mixed-use residential project that reactivates the Korean Town.
The 50-unit residential development is inserted inside the neighborhood of Catalina Street. The dynamically patterned and folded building envelopes activate the project’s exterior, expressing a thoughtful structural and geometric rationality and creating a dramatic interplay of Southern California light and shadow.

My Role: I took charge of all the responsibilities of this design, including managing SD, CD and DD drawings; 3D model building; rendering and graphic drawing; managing material library; preparing documents for meeting; submitting drawings to LADBS.
