Our design for the Indian Heritage Centre of Singapore is to create an open and welcoming sequence of public spaces that naturally continues from the street up to the rooftop garden.
The face of Indian Heritage Centre becomes a collection of “Living Platforms” evolved as a deep environmental façade wrapped around the gallery spaces, made up of sheltered open air areas for public use in front of or adjacent to interior gallery areas and planter areas for vertical greenery.
Visitors of all races and origins move, search, interact, sit, rest and enliven the IHC through their use of IHC “Living Platforms”, a truly vertical continuation of street life.
