A Silicon Valley corporation leased a vacant mid-century elementary school to create an employee childcare campus. The project went beyond building renovation to an all-encompassing reinvention of the environment in keeping with the client’s Reggio Emilia educational approach. Colorful architectural insertions at a child’s scale create easily supervised places to play and learn.
