A contemporary art space in Austin’s bustling downtown district, Lora Reynolds Gallery exemplifies the marriage of form and function. The challenge was to create a flexible exhibition space, employee office, art storage, and project room all in a compact 1,800 square feet. In the main gallery, a transient wall demarcates the space, allowing for transformation and flexibility in the presentation of artwork. The space incorporates flexible lighting with even wall finishes, ideal for displaying art that is diverse in scale and medium.
