Architectural photography specialist, Steve Maylone recently completed an assignment in Farmville, Virginia.  Bedford Hall at Longwood University, houses the visual and studio arts programs. Moseley Architects, Virginia and HGA Architecture, Minneapolis — commissioned Steve to capture interiors and exteriors.

The photographic approach intended to showcase the architectural design, specifically direct and diffuse daylight flooded spaces. This was easily achieved with high dynamic range software. Careful consideration was given to the people that frequent the spaces, creating a somewhat complex HDR process.  A large amount of dusk and twilight shots rounded out the coverage.
