About 

Sam has a unique working background involving both the fast paced design of luxury retail spaces and the detail-oriented, bespoke design of luxury residences. Through his residential experience, he has built an extensive knowledge of the design process from concept to construction, including specifying FF&E, designing custom furniture, producing construction sets, and procuring asset-class furniture to complement clients’ blue-chip art collections, resulting in the creations of highly livable museum quality environments. In his ongoing corporate experience at L’Oreal, he has adapted and refined his skills in a constantly evolving brand environment where he both designs and manages new store projects, experiential pop-up concepts, and custom fixtures.  Sam's projects have have been featured in international publications such as Architectural Digest and Elle Decor Italia.

• Support the design and project management of 500+ freestanding stores & 1500+ point of sale doors globally to reinforce yearly sales of more than one billion euros worldwide
• Concept, Design, and 3D Render full-scale renovations from start to finish, for review by Kiehl’s CEO and L’Oreal worldwide meetings
• Lead project team to Concept and Design fixtures and experiential designs for global rollouts
• Spearhead the redesign of Kiehl’s NYC flagship store and full gut renovation of Tokyo flagship to exemplify brand DNA and 1851 heritage
• Manage local construction teams for project coordination
• Work cross-functionally among Visual Merchandising, Packaging Design, and Marketing Teams to create exceptional pop-up experiences
