Sam has a unique working background involving both the fast paced design of luxury retail spaces and the detail-oriented, bespoke design of luxury residences. Through his residential experience, he has built an extensive knowledge of the design process from concept to construction, including specifying FF&E, designing custom furniture, producing construction sets, and procuring asset-class furniture to complement clients’ blue-chip art collections, resulting in the creations of highly livable museum quality environments. In his ongoing corporate experience at L’Oreal, he has adapted and refined his skills in a constantly evolving brand environment where he both designs and manages new store projects, experiential pop-up concepts, and custom fixtures.
