My name is Shoon Lae Hme and I am an architect from Myanmar who has been working for over 2.5 years. I am a participant in the Architect-US Professional Career Training Program that sponsors my J1-Visa, health insurance and take care of all the paperwork as part of the U.S Government Exchange J-1 Visitor Program. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Technological University of Mandalay. Currently, I am a junior architect that has accumulated 2.5 years of experience working out of Mandalay, Myanmar at Aung Myin Myanmar Construction Co.Ltd, I am grateful for the skills learned and honed by working at Aung Myin Myanmar Construction Co.Ltd, but I now look to further my growth by seeking employment abroad.
Teamwork is a valuable asset in any office whether it is architects or doctors. A transition abroad is a difficult task but I am ready for the challenge. I believe together with your company’s team I can be a great asset to the workforce. During my stay at Aung Myin Myanmar Construction Co.Ltd, I was in charge of designing residential buildings, checking tender drawings, preparing drawings for authority purposes, preparing detail drawings, site plans and 3D visualizations. My experience through these years made me proficient in understanding construction methods and techniques, solving the design errors in construction sites, and carrying out the drawing processes in a timely manner.
