Located in Weiyuan Island in Binhaiwan New Area, the Great Bay University (Binhaiwan Campus) covers around 1.4 million square meters. Situated at the intersection of the east and west banks of the Pearl River Estuary in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Binhaiwan New Area is connected to the Nansha Free Trade Zone in Guangzhou, the Airport Economic Zone of Shenzhen and the Qianhai Free Trade Zone. Adjacent to both Hong Kong and Macao, it is a significant area that highlights the collaboration between the two regions, thus increasing interconnections between the two.
