This major retail infill project enlivens an existing shopping center that provides retail and dementia respite day care services for a large retirement community and surrounding neighborhoods.
The renovation of this existing shopping center includes defining a new main plaza that acts as the heart of the project. The plaza is surrounded with food tenants, bocce ball courts, shade trees, and seating. Improved footpaths and crosswalks connect the overall project and improve pedestrian safety for patrons of all ages. Exciting new tenants and new inviting gathering spaces revitalize Rossmoor Town Center and make it a new community focal point.
Our design team’s intent is to give the existing center an entirely new identity with an updated look featuring warmer and more modern colors and materials. Components also include updating signage, providing new lush landscaping, and creating new outdoor gathering/dining spaces.
Renovations to traffic flow accommodate transit drop-off and pick-up services from the retirement community. A new respite day care center serves the family members of those using the shops, services, and restaurants enlivened by the renovation.
