Scottish Residence   edinburgh, scotland   uk   our design approach for this single family multi-floor residence was to create a simple, modern, and cost sensitive piece of architecture.  this unit can be used as a "stand alone" infill project that can be repeated as you move further down the street.  by allowing the first level to be slightly raised off the ground, we can then bring natural lighting into the basement.
