A school of architectural thinking
Los Angeles, CA
Request InformationThe Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) is pleased to announce its fall 2015 series of public events. The lecture series begins with RIGHT NOW, a 2-day symposium aiming to instigate unscripted conversations among a broad cross-section of today’s most exciting practitioners. SCI-Arc public lectures this coming fall will introduce speakers from a broad range of disciplines, including Pritzker Prize laureate Shigeru Ban, artists Perry Hall and Fabian Marcaccio, educators Hashim Sarkis and Brett Steele, architects Zvi Hecker and Michael Hansmeyer, and photographer Richard Schulman, among others.
The lecture series is complemented by two exhibitions: a group show of best thesis projects from this year’s graduating class, and a site-specific SCI-Arc Gallery exhibition of drawings and paintings by architect Zvi Hecker. Admission to SCI-Arc-hosted public events and exhibitions is always free and open to the public.
