As part of a major improvements project at the Boston Athletic Club (BAC), Saam Architecture designed environmental graphics that wrap around the double height space the updated fitness room.

The concept utilizes the BAC’s logo and brand colors and is partially inspired by the BAC’s original logo; it will also be integrated into other spaces to unify the design throughout the gym and on the BAC website. 

Adopting the type and simple shield of the BAC’s current logo, the super graphics evoke a style that is modern with vintage attributes. Patterns are assigned to each of the photorealistic athletes to create a dynamic composition suited to the active, multi-functional fitness space.

The 7.75 foot high panels are dye-sublimation printed on heavy knit fabric in lengths ranging from 7.75 feet to 122.9 feet.
