Saam was founded in June 2014 and firm leadership has served together in executive positions for nearly two decades. Since its establishment, Saam has grown to a team of 22, drawing talent from other high-profile Boston architectural studios to bring together diverse backgrounds and skill sets.

In providing a progressive approach to culture and benefits, Saam seeks to provide a level platform for all team members, such that all can pursue career goals regardless of other life commitments.
Collaboration is central to Saam's approach to architecture, providing responsible design solutions while acknowledging the client’s role in them. This business model has attracted a top-talent client base and provided a high rate of client retention.
