Eaglebrook Arts and Science Building

The building was formed through studying certain axes that were important for circulation zones and programmatic zones. For this particular project, the axis chosen was the long axis that would eventually connect two distant areas through a series of intersecting lines. The resulting form is one of two distinct but similar axis zones that intersect and becomes a continuous form but still retain its distinct intersecting features. The building emphasizes its continuity through its facade and its play on in and out. As the building turn corners, some features of the facade would follow and remain to have its continuous features. It does not stop there because as entrances are encountered, some of the features of the facade continues inward and becomes part of the interior design. In some cases, a similar play of interior and exterior garden is included to show the continuity of the building to mesh the interior and exterior conditions and find a mid ground that is suitable for both sides.
