A cross analysis between Luigi Moretti’s Il Girasole and a typical two family new haven home. The exterior boundary in Il Girasole is permeable where as the exterior shell is non permeable for a new haven home. This model seeks to blur the boundaries of what is inside and what is outside by starting with a closed shell and opening up to a permeable home, thereby blurring the lines between the inside and the outside.
