Surber Barber Choate + Hertlein Architects designed this exceptionally crafted home to capture light and refocus it on various shapes and textures of wood, stone and steel. From the rooflines to sloped and cornered window systems to the bump outs and multiple levels, this home was meticulously designed as an architectural adventure for the spirit. Quantum’s Signature Series Windows in Douglas Fir were utilized for their lean lines and design flexibility. With their common mullions and minimal profiles, they are reminiscent of a time when windows were built on site and inspired by the natural course of a much more flexible building process. To that end, with their clear coat finish, they are a wonderfully adapted component to a very inspired vision.
