Rather than creating an isolated object at the end of the axis, the library begins to rise to fold in on itself, creating a wave of social activity. Like a surreal moment of bending gravity or warped reality, the pavement of the axis rises forming a curved horizon like a breaking wave only to form a roof and fold before it returns to look back to the main axis.
The head on top of the podium, is the most important part of the library. A cut incision at the joint of the both elements, materialized in a large entrance ramp system, becomes the main entrance to the library, connecting both sides in the middle of the cube.
