Home of the "Roadrunners", Albuquerque Middle School inspires creativity and learning while promoting sustainability, collaboration and a patriotism for the Southwest. Influenced by the surrounding colors and textures of the natural landscape, AMS pivots on the concept of transition and movement. Walkways and signage lead users through the space while capturing the essence of the native Route 66. Custom stonework and wood beams articulate the designation of space while providing an inviting environment in and out of the classroom.
