On the Boards: Exposed was a group project with two other graduate students. The type of theater that the group On the Boards practices is experiemental and typically not understood by all audiences. Because of this misunderstanding of what political and experiemental theater is all about, we chose to "expose" different aspects of the program to the community that typically are hidden within the traditional notion of a theater. On top of that, our goal was to create a community for the actors of the various shows by providing housing, practice spaces, galleries and retail spaces to support all the different elements of an actor's life.
