Historic preservation is a unique design endeavor. It calls for strategic planning and coordination. The Station Hotel was no different. The importance of its original site history, The City Hall Subway Station, within the Civic Center in Lower Manhattan, was a legacy.

To pay homage to the structure, the goal becomes to reserve the shell and grown upon the unique interior.

For the renovation, 100% of the building remains intact while also expanding to create more guest room at the two ends of the platform.
