The bank is placed inside the historical centre of the
town, it occupies the ground floor and the first floor
of a building which had been erected in nineteenth
century; it is developed on a total surface of 600 sm.
The building was still occupied by another bank and
it is opened on the internal bamboo garden, like in
Japan. We worked only on architectural elements
and existing walls changing contents and global
image of the interior. The “travertino” stone has been
partly demolished and partly painted in white. The
stair has been encapsulated in a green plasterboard
husk; only the steps were kept. Any colours is part of
a green table which derives from the bamboo garden,
each one has been used in strategic way on the
stair, windows and lighting box. The furnishings are
all treated with warm colours and materials. Various
wooden essences and some Abet laminates (Fiber)
are repeated in the interior design.
