The Truman Sports Complex is located in Kansas City, Missouri. It includes Arrowhead Stadium, the professional football home of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Kauffman Stadium, the major league baseball home of the Kansas City Royals. The site was designed in the 1960s and features the adjacent stadiums situated among extra-large parking fields.

The goal of this project is to explore ways to build within the site and expand its usage capabilities while thoroughly researching ways in which the future growth of the city's population might affect the potential for urban planning within the expansive space contained in the site. The project's findings make a case for the need to establish a more efficient use of space at this location. The project research also uncovers the most relevant detrimental environmental factors that plague the site, and the project design proposals suggest potential solutions to remedy them. The design solutions encourage a more efficient and broader usage geared toward a greater demographic.
