The Minnesota Zero Energy Design Lab, the proposed addition to Ralph Rapson Hall at the University
of Minnesota, was a challenge in holistic and creative design thinking in order to achieve a zero energy
addition. Over the course of half of a semester, I and three other students, have set a variety of daylight, thermal, and systems integration goals with both pragmatic and poetic implications to achieve within our design to help us achieve zero energy.
