About

Graduated with a Master of Architecture in May, 2012 from the Graduate School of Architecture at University of Minnesota.  I was nominated for the Masters Final Project Richard Morrill Award that recognized students’ ability to develop a holistic research and design project.  Currently, I am a Graduate Architect at Schmidt Associates working towards becoming a licensed Architect.  I am eager to use the knowledge and experiences that I have obtained to improve the surrounding communities through architecture.

Employment

Schmidt Associates Architectural Firm, Indianapolis, IN, US, Architectural Graduate

Schmidt Associates is a highly integrated architectural firm, therefore, I get opportunities to interact with Principles, Project Architects, Landscape Architects, Engineers, and the Marketing team on a daily basis. This allowed me to be proactive in initiating collaborations between different departments within Schmidt Associates on various projects. Also, my ability to use multiple software effectively, such as Revit, Lumion, SketchUp, AutoCAD and Sefaira, has allowed me to participated in design competitions, schematic design process, master planning, building code reviews with consultants, facilitate room by room meetings with owners, and developing construction documents. These experiences and learning opportunities at Schmidt Associates have helped me become a well-rounded Graduate Architect.
