COLLECTIVE VOIDS

One, two, and three bedroom apartments stack into cubes allowing for multiple organizations of the units.  To save public access along the waterfront, the housing blocks stack into needle towers with minimal footprints.  As the cubes stack, the spaces between the core and the apartments span multiple units to create vertical neighborhoods.  The environments between the vertical neighborhoods compose registrations into the uniform façade.  The registered void in the façade links the social spaces between the adjacent vertical towers.  The skin continues into a hung canopy that links all the towers into a community on the ground floor.
