The Chicago Museum of Architecture is conceived as a simple volume cantilevered over the river walk and flying over a translucid ground floor. The exhibition spaces are placed in the cube with an open space thanks to the lightweight steel structure trusses. The basement floors connect the Museum to the river walk through some ramps that create public terraces and the walk is opened in front of the Museum generating a public square.
