This project was designed during my tenure at the Illinois Institute of Technology. It consists of some glass blowing studios and an exhibition gallery. The site is placed in an industrial area in front of the Chicago River with wonderful views of the city.

The glass studios require heavy equipment ovens and to have controlled light, so they are placed on the basement in an open space. On the ground floor the service cores close the building to the street and the galleries are opened to the views.
