Located in the Portland State University Urban
Center plaza, the folly design inherits a city zoned
building line as its east west axis and a gestalted
line connecting the two main entries of the opposing
buildings as its north south axis. Large steps to
the top platform slow the inhabitant’s ascent and
allow them to view the change in perspective provided
by the form.
