A young couple wanted a nontraditional home in Santa Fe that still blended into the landscape. The open floor plan creates an adaptable experience with an abundance of space- even though the 3-bedroom house is less than 1800 SF. Additionally, the plan is pivoted to create both a private entry and an open back facade to capitalize on the view beyond. As a design team, we worked closely with the clients, and the contractor, as well as an energy rater to provide an affordable, yet energy-efficient home at around $100/sf.
