The L.A River is an undeniable feat of human engineering and an infrastructure that punctures through the heart of Los Angeles as it directs waters towards the Pacific Ocean. The Wallenberg theme for my final senior semester in the architecture program was one that had us design to bring the public and people to infrastructures. The following collection of work is m y process in designing architecture to fit with the infr astructure of the Los Angeles River, challenging me with scale, fortitude, and depths of the river’s impact .
