Library Renovation

The project called for a renovation of the current library in the university. As it is, it lacks proper ventilation, organization of reading and multimedia areas, and proper lighting. To make a more efficient design, I proposed separating the reading spaces from the bookshelves. With a better design, the bookshelves would hold a greater amount of books, which would give the library more space for new collections. For the lighting and ventilation problems, I designed indirect rooftop lighting and a series of louvres covering the facade.
