The beauty of the vast desert remains intact by creating an undergroung lodge that appears to be carved in by the wind.
Arab textils and patterns were analysed and broken down to create a grid what would allow a sense of unity and organization within the site, while honoring the culture of the surrounding areas.
A large arrival plaza is centered by a grand camp fire that welcomes the tourists to the site, providing hidden stables and staff dormitories to its side. The grid then extends from this arrival point and creates smaller plazas from which the underground dormitories radiate.
