Family Home Health Agency (FHHA) underwent a complete renovation to accommodate the expanding staff of over 100 employees. New landscaping, lighting and outdoor seating area for employees and visitors showcase the exterior additions to the facility. The “wave” wraps around the building, sheltering walkways and creating visual interest. The “eyebrows”, three interlocking canopies, provide shelter from sun and rain to provide a breezy yet protected outdoor area for employees. Curved awnings over the windows use a perforated fabric that filters the sun, reducing solar heat gain and preventing glare for employees. The design for the awnings has received two SWIFA awards.
