My design concept was based on a horizontal MDF (Medium-Density-Fibreboard) I wanted to use as a focal point and carry on the concept idea across the room connecting the entire space with the master bath. The original floor plan did not have the bathroom and bedroom connected, therefore space planning to a more functional layout was the solution. This house was a complete remodel, from space planning to demolishing walls, I manage to create an open space with a purpose.

    I designed a unique custom made 3x7 headboard made out of MDF with LED lighting to give it a floating feeling. I carried through the same concept on the ceiling to the TV wall connecting this space with a soft modern look. Using LED lighting along the sides it created a dramatic change and by using a pop of color it transformed this bedroom to a master suite opening up the space.
