As part of Byron Mouton's urbanBUILD 4th yr. options studio at Tulane University, our team of students constructed a single-family home w/ optional annex.  The program was partly financed by the Make It Right organization.  We were exposed to many new sustainable material products and advanced building techniques that are quickly being introduced more broadly into mainstream construction and development.  The primary body of the house is comprised of a Structurally Insulated Paneling system that arrived on-site ready for assembly.  The team of students engaged in every step of the construction process from initial ground work to final touch-ups.
