Butler-Shappee Pavilion, Front Porch & Master Retreat Addition

This project entailed creating a new pavilion, a new front entry porch and a new master retreat addition to a 1970's, hillside home in Ventura.

At the front porch I designed a dropped ceiling to create a welcoming and intimate sense of entry.

I wrapped the additions with a low concrete ledge that acts as extra seating and loungin area.
