Assisted with streetscape design, including the development of the conceptual landscape and irrigation plans.  The plans were submitted to the District 3 FDOT Secretary with a request for funding through the Senate Bill 1446 Landscape Program.  The plans are consistent with the CRA Design Guidelines (prepared by LDI in 2007) and include hardy, native plants that can withstand the harsh roadway conditions along US 98 as well as the coastal climate of Northwest Florida.  Later phases of the Streetscape Plan include decorative street lighting, enhanced pedestrian crosswalks, site furnishings, decorative fencing and the renovation of a pedestrian overpass connecting the school buildings to the athletic fields across US 98.
