This 19th Century Victorian Manor House was refurbished with a new entrance, naturally day-lit lobby waiting area, new WC and circulation core and expanded office space.
The design concept balanced contemporary accents with sympathetic conservation style elements to the together the fabric of the old and the new.
Design began in September 2006 with planning submitted in December 2006 and consent granted in February 2008. The 28 Week construction programme, 6th August 2007 – 29th February 2008 was extended following the granting of an extension of time, with practical completion achieved on 11th April 2008.
